Candler Park was founded in 1890 as one of Atlanta's first neighborhoods. Candler Park was named after Coca-Cola founder and 44th mayor of Atlanta, Asa Candler. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is home to Mary Line Elementary and the City of Atlanta's Candler Park.
Lake Claire & Land Trust
Lake Claire is named after the intersection of Claire Drive and Lakeshore Drive and has its roots dating back to the early 1900s. It is home to the Lake Claire Community Land Trust.
